Log in to your FinPath account

Head to the FinPath login page to get started. Use the email address and password you used when you registered for the program.

Open the Digital Money Assistant

From your FinPath dashboard, select the "Digital Assistant" tile in the center of the screen. This is your personal financial hub.

First time in the Digital Money Assistant? You'll be asked to complete a quick authentication step. This keeps your financial data secure.

Click the "Planning" tab

Once you're inside the Digital Money Assistant, look for the "Planning" tab at the top of the screen. Click it to access your financial planning tools.

Click "Update STEPScore" to get started

Inside the Planning tab, click the "Update STEPScore" button. Your STEPScore measures your financial wellness across key categories — completing it gives your coach a clear picture of where to focus.

You now know how to complete your STEPScore. Your score helps personalize your coaching experience — the more you update it, the more tailored your plan becomes.

Open the Digital Money Assistant

From your FinPath dashboard, select the "Digital Assistant" tile in the center of the screen to access your financial tools.

Click the "My Money" tab

Inside the Digital Money Assistant, click the "My Money" tab at the top of the screen. This is where you'll find your net worth tracker and connected accounts.

Click "Add Accounts" to calculate your net worth

In the Net Worth box, click "Add Accounts" to start linking your financial accounts. The more accounts you add — checking, savings, investments, loans — the more accurate your net worth picture becomes.

Your data is secure. FinPath uses bank-level encryption to protect your connected account information. Your coach can see your progress, not your account numbers.

Inside the Digital Money Assistant, click the "Planning" tab at the top of the screen to access goal-setting and financial assessments.

Open "Goals" and create your first goal

Inside the Planning tab, click the "Goals" tab next to "Assessments." Then click "Create New Goal" — your Digital Money Assistant will guide you through the setup by asking a few questions. Simply type your answers in the chat box to get started.

Your assistant will guide you. Once you click "Create New Goal," the chat-based assistant will ask a few questions to personalize your goal. Just type your responses naturally — there are no wrong answers.

What is Financial Literacy Month?

Financial Literacy Month is a national celebration dedicated to financial awareness in the month of April. All month long, FinPath hosts activities to improve your financial literacy and PAYS YOU for learning!

How do I earn points?

You can earn points simply by participating in the eligible activities listed like completing a coaching session, taking the STEP Assessment, completing the April course, or exploring the Digital Money Assistant in your dashboard. To be eligible for prizes, you must have earned 125 points minimum for a chance to win the $500 Grand Prize and 100 points minimum for a chance to win other prize amounts.

How do I participate?

To participate, all you need to do is activate your FinPath account and participate in the Financial Literacy Month activities! All participants have the ability to take part in Financial Literacy Month and a chance to win up to $500!

How do I access my FinPath account?

Activate your FinPath account at www.finpathwellness.com/register and enter your email. You will receive a registration email to complete activating your account - check spam if you don't see the email or contact support: account@finpathwellness.com

What's the cost for all this?

Absolutely no cost to you. Your employer pays for you to have unlimited access to financial coaching and educational resources with FinPath.

What if I already took my STEP Assessment before April?

If you have already activated your account and have taken your STEP Score, you will automatically start the challenge with 50 points!
If it has been 180+ days since you last took your STEP Assessment, you will need to retake it in order to earn the 50 points.

How will I know if I'm getting credit for each activity?

We automatically log entries on your behalf. All you have to do is make sure you complete the activities mentioned above. If you have any trouble accessing the activities, please contact us at hello@finpathwellness.com.

What is the Digital Money Assistant?

The Digital Money Assistant is located in your FinPath Dashboard and is your smart guide to money. You can chat the assistant to help you with financial questions and set up financial goals. Simply log in to your FinPath account, locate the "Digital Money Assistant" module or click "STEP Results" tab on the left hand side to open the assistant.
